Museo Del Oro has so much gold but even more history behind all of it.
Museo Del Oro has 3 floors, in total it has 55,000 pieces of gold in that one museum. On the 2nd floor, a visitor discovers how each piece was used normally on a day-to-day basis and how it got collected to be used. On the 3rd floor, it talks about the history of how gold was used in ceremonies at the time. Museo Del Oro is located in the capital of Colombia, Bogota. It holds years of history and explains how it all evolved. A lot of the pieces that they have are from a very long time ago, it dates back all the way to 300 BC. Museo Del Oro was more so to preserve these ancient gold artifacts and bring them back to “life”. Museo Del Oro is located near a bunch of food places like cafes, restaurants, etc. So after people finish or before people go into the Museo Del Oro people can eat and there are so many choices.
